Application 2020

The number of PHD students participating to the School is limited to 30.

The earlier deadline for applying is December 9th, 2019, the last deadline is December 18th, 2019. We encourage early applications. 

Admission will be communicated within two working days for those registering before December 9th 09:00 (Italian time), 2019.

Applications received after December 9th (and in all cases before December 18th) will be reviewed within one working week.


PhD students’ selection is based on the presentation of a short CV  and (possibly) a paper to be attached to the online application. Use the link specified during the application process to do that.

Please note that for fiscal reasons we also need a copy of your ID card (or passport). Use the link specified during the application process to do that.

 Accepted participants should then pay within 4 working days from acceptance (payment received before December 9th are strongly encouraged and will be given priority in treatment) following the payment options described in the application form.

Selected papers proposed by participants will be presented during the school. In this case please select the appropriate option in the application form and submit the paper.

Participation fees for accepted applicants are: 

    • base: 350 € includes tuition, shuttle bus transportation from Verona to Canazei (leaving on Sunday, January 12th, 2020 in the afternoon and returning on Friday, January 17th 2020 in the morning)  and the social dinner

    • base + dinner: 400 € includes base registration plus dinner for all days

    • base + dinner + accommodation: 550 € includes base registration plus a double (or triple) room accommodation together with another participant and half-board (breakfast and dinner).

Please be aware that the procedure for receipt/invoices has changed this year. In order for us to be able to issue the receipt/invoice, you need to complete a separate form (which link is in the application confirmation e-mail).

If you will receive the acceptation message, the quickest way to pay is by credit card.
If you pay by bank transfer please read the instructions specified in the "methods of payment" carefully.
For instance, we need a scanned copy of the bank transfer before the deadline for registrations.
